In the third edition of our Champion States series of The Sustainability 100+ Dialogues 2021, we recognise Maharashtra’s efforts towards climate action. During the roundtable discussion, we will focus on how the state is adhering to its commitment to build a resilient climate future by implementing workable strategies, especially in clean and affordable energy.
NITI Aayog acknowledged Maharashtra's commitment and efforts towards the same and ranked it as a top performer following its innovative ways to boost renewable energy, lower air pollution and support farmers to name a few.
This engaging session will delve into Maharashtra’s implementation of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and shed light on the state’s progress on renewable energy policies, electric mobility, agricultural productivity, and reduction of air pollution.
