To continue the Champion States series of The Sustainability 100+ Dialogues 2021, we are hosting a roundtable discussion in Telangana. As a part of this session, we are acknowledging Telangana for its robust programs in improving water quality, access, and infrastructure. Through the discussion, we will highlight water-related initiatives pioneered by the state and inform our audience about how the state has ensured water conservation while solving pertinent issues.
Clean water and sanitation have always been close to India’s heart. Several ambitious programmes have been launched across the country to provide access to clean drinking water, protect water-related ecosystems, increase water efficiency, and promote adequate and equitable sanitation. Now, there is an emerging need for sustainability solutions and policy interventions to elevate these efforts.
The discussion will, thus, deliberate on fresh perspectives, disruptive approaches, and breakthrough innovations that are required to make water access seamless and efficient across India with Telangana leading by example.
